The Corvair Corral Story by owner John Seaman

I have been working, racing, rebuilding, selling, and servicing Corvairs for 35 years. I started when my Dad owned a Chevrolet dealership in Chicago Il. I worked with my father at his dealership up until his passing away. I enjoyed the Corvair so much that I have always had one around. At one point had 163 cars on 2 acres of land. This is a great hobby and a relaxing way to enjoy working with my hands and keeping my fathers passion alive.
I've had many project Corvairs through the years but I enjoy the Forward Controls (FC's) and Wagons most. I still love them all. During my long history with Corvairs I have seen everything from Corvair powered boats to Corvair powered Trikes.
This is my 1961 Corvair Lakewood wagon. It was purchased new by my Dad.
